Summary:
The
successful candidate will be provided an opportunity to manage
a software engineering group and be responsible for development and maintenance of
projects.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of software engineers.
- Write performance reviews and make hiring decisions.
- Oversee the analysis, design, programming,
debugging, and modification of computer programs for commercial or end user applications.
- Provide advice and direction to subordinate
supervisors or staff members to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational
problems.
Qualifications (Skills Required):
- Strong leadership ability.
- Able to break projects into pieces.
- Experience to establish or manage a team of
engineers.
- In depth technical knowledge of software
development and system software.
- Excellent communication, presentation, people,
and project management skills.
Education:
- BS
in Engineering or equivalent. MS preferred.
